Dyno Video: 576 rwhp Hennessey Ford GT 700

gtdyno-600

This 2006 white and blue-striped Ford GT came to the shop last week as a customer’s 710hp GT 700. But in a matter of weeks it will be leaving as a 1,000 hp twin turbo (and supercharged) GT 1000!

The Hennessey Ford GT 700 is the first level of upgrade packages we offer for the Ford GT. We take the supercharged 5.4L V8 from 12 psi to 16 psi of boost and add a custom-fabricated stainless steel exhaust, high-flow air filters as well as performing a thorough recalibration and tune of the computer and other on-board sensors to handle the added power.

The end result is a stout 160 hp gain over stock that gives Ford’s supercar the extra grunt it needs to take on the latest batch of high-horsepower exotics (and American speed demons like the Corvette ZR1 and 600hp 2008+ Vipers).

Here’s the video of the baseline test we ran of the car on our new Dyno Dynamics dyno before it goes under the wrench:

It made 576.5 to the wheels on a hot and humid Texas morning, putting it right in line for 700+ crank hp.

And if you think that sounds good, just wait until it hits the rollers as a GT 1000.

Stay tuned!
