Not one week after news of the VelociRaptor 600 and it’s twin turbocharged 6.2L V8 on the dyno, reports from Ford are surfacing about other F-150′s set to receive the new 6.2L in lieu of the aging 5.4L.
The 2011 Harley Davidson F-150 is being touted as sporting the powerplant, producing 411 hp and 434 lb-ft torque, along with a few new appearance updates for the ’11 model year. And while the Harley is the first to be announced… it won’t be the last to receive the 6.2L.
That means what Hennessey Performance has been developing for the 6.2 Raptor — from air induction and tuning to supercharger and turbo applications — should transfer nicely to the rest of the lineup, including the Harley Davidson.
So fret not, non-Raptor 6.2L F-150 owners… once your new truck hits the dealership, Hennessey Performance will have a growing number of performance parts and upgrades already available.
