Open House July 30th at the New Hennessey Southern California Facility in Lake Forest

Since 2009, we’ve operated a second location in Southern California in addition to our Texas-based headquarters. And now we’re celebrating the move to our new, larger facility with an open house event at the end of this month.

Our Southern California location in Orange County was established to give Hennessey Performance the ability to provide sales, service and performance upgrades for clients in this car-centric region of the world.

With this new location, HPE’s capabilities have increased to provide a greater range of upgrade services. The 10,000 square foot facility features seven service bays, a welding and fabrication shop and an all-new Dynojet installation is underway. We’re just up the road from our previous facility on Bake Parkway, and we’re still only a few miles from where the famous Cars and Coffee™ Irvine gatherings are held.

See the HPE650 Camaro Convertible at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach this Weekend

Starting today and going through Saturday (April 7 – 9), Hennessey Performance will be displaying one of our latest supercharged 2011 Camaro convertibles at the Barrett-Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach, Florida.

Our display Camaro is a Summit White convertible with our popular and powerful HPE650 supercharged upgrade producing 655 horsepower. It’s also decked with our exclusive carbon fiber body kit, lightweight forged wheels and orange hood stripe kit.

Come and get a close-up look at one of the summer’s hottest new cars and meet our team while checking out all the excitement Barrett-Jackson brings when it comes to town.

Pictures: 2011 Indy 500 Camaro Convertible Pace Car at Barrett-Jackson

2011 Camaro Convertible Indy 500 Pace Car

When the Indianapolis 500 is run this May, it’ll once again have its pace set by a white convertible Camaro SS, just as it had in 1969. The 2011 Summit White SS mimics the first gen classic with an orange stripe and interior, with a familiar yet modern pace car graphic running along its door.

Chevrolet unveiled the car last night at the Barrett-Jackson auto auction in Scottsdale, and we’ve got a few pics of the cars side by side and on display. With a white heritage grill and trim accents that carry over the white / orange stripe scheme to the interior, it’s a clean example of special edition pace car that doesn’t get carried away with wild colors, graphics and other eye-jarring acts of flash as in the past. Clean and simple. We like it.

Hennessey Wraps up Visit to Barrett Jackson Orange County

Hennessey Performance is settling back in after wrapping up our visit to Barrett Jackson’s first Orange County edition of the famed auto auction. Nestled right beside duPont Registry’s sprawling display, we had roughly 3,000 horsepower lined up under the awning for attendees to get up close with.

Here’s the rundown of what you missed out on:

It might be safe to say we had one of the highest power to square foot ratios on the grounds at this past weekends event!

And incidentally, if you watched SPEED’s coverage of the event, you may have seen our trailer during the sweep away transitions. The camera guy across from us was continually panning and sweeping for those commercial cutaways you see before sending you back to the auction block.
