The 2011 Harley Davidson F-150 is being touted as sporting the powerplant, producing 411 hp and 434 lb-ft torque, along with a few new appearance updates for the ’11 model year.
That means what Hennessey Performance has been developing for the 6.2 Raptor — from air induction and tuning to supercharger and turbo applications — should transfer nicely to the rest of the lineup, including the Harley Davidson.

The wait for a turbo setup on Ford’s new 6.2L Raptor is over with the completion of Hennessey Performance’s VelociRaptor 600 package for the 2010 – 2011 6.2 Raptor. Remember the teaser start-up video? Well now the truck has been tested, tweaked, dyno’d and driven… and the results are in.

The truck was very consistent during multiple test runs, posting up rear wheel horsepower in the 490 range on 6 psi of boost through a factory exhaust. To amp up the terrifying sound of the truck and to see just how much Ford’s stock muffler was holding the turbos back, a freer-flowing exhaust with Magnaflow muffler was added.

The experiment paid-out huge, allowing the system to flow dramatically better, and in turn, pick up power. After a few teaks to the tune and reigning in the boost levels to a tame 6.5 psi, the VelociRaptor 600 squatted back on its FOX Racing shocks and laid down an impressive 517 rear wheel HP and 525 lb-ft of torque on its 93 octane pump gas.

The 500 rwhp mark had been dispatched with little effort and was well on the mark for our VelociRaptor 600 upgrade’s 622 bhp / 638 lb-ft tq package rating.

Check out the twin turbo VelociRaptor’s dyno video below:

But we’re not done yet! Stay tuned for more news about the 6.2L Raptor coming soon, including a new supercharger application now under development for a new form of boosted fury.

It isn’t Hennessey’s first rodeo twin turbocharging the new Camaro (see the HPE800), but the 4th of July fireworks came early in Texas with our latest HPE1000 twin turbo Camaro hitting the Dynojet for a follow-up to it’s initial 855 rwhp 93 octane tuning session that warmed up its 427 cubic inch LSX engine.

Using C16 race gas for good measure, the HPE1000 was repeating its earlier performance with ease, able to make mid-800 wheel HP pulls on mild boost settings. After things felt dialed in enough, it was time for a cool down and a jump from 18 to 21 psi to see if it could crack the 1,000 wheel HP barrier without having to dial up the boost any further.

How did it go? Check out the video to see the final result:

1021.46 rear wheel HP and 1027.73 lb-ft torque… on the FIRST run, safe as can be. The ease in which it made nearly 1200 crank horsepower (at the motor) gave every indication reaching even higher numbers would come just as naturally. Certainly, the same numbers on pump gas are easily attainable with a few tweaks to the tune.

Hennessey Performance is settling back in after wrapping up our visit to Barrett Jackson’s first Orange County edition of the famed auto auction. Nestled right beside duPont Registry’s sprawling display, we had roughly 3,000 horsepower lined up under the awning for attendees to get up close with.

Here’s the rundown of what you missed out on:

A red GTR800 trimmed in carbon fiber accents

A Magnuson-supercharged HPE600 Challenger SRT8 with a trick modified shaker hood

A fully-optioned supercharged HPE600 Camaro (it’s for sale!)

A blisteringly fast twin turbo Ford GT1000

It might be safe to say we had one of the highest power to square foot ratios on the grounds at this past weekends event!

And incidentally, if you watched SPEED’s coverage of the event, you may have seen our trailer during the sweep away transitions. The camera guy across from us was continually panning and sweeping for those commercial cutaways you see before sending you back to the auction block.

The new 6.2L V8 in Ford’s F-150 Raptor truck may have only been out for a few months, but it’s already the next of a long line of performance vehicles to receive the Hennessey twin turbo treatment.

Introducing the VelociRaptor 600 and 800 twin turbo upgrades.

Continuing where the supercharged 5.4L VelociRaptor 500 left off, the VelociRaptor 600 and 800 pick up the slack for the 6.2 as a viable supercharger option is still months down the road. Rated at 605 bhp and 810 bhp, respectively, development of the twin turbo system is well underway, with a running vehicle already giving us a hint at what’s to come:

Since revealing the first Venom GT prototype earlier this spring sporting a stout 725 hp supercharged LS9 V8, the resounding consensus seemed to be, “I can’t wait to see what the twin turbo version will be like!”.

Well, the wait was short, and now it’s here. The first production-ready Hennessey Venom GT — in pure twin turbo V8 glory — is complete and already on its way to its brand new owner in the UAE via Hennessey’s exclusive Middle East distributor, Mr. Al DiMora of DiMora Motorcar.

Producing 1,200 bhp from a twin turbo 6.2L LS-series V8, the silver Venom GT is decked out in all the production goodies: A carbon fiber body, full custom upholstered interior and barely tipping the scales with a scant curb weight of just over 2,600 pounds with a full tank of gas (all 18 gallons worth).

Check out VenomGT.com now to see all the pictures and specs!

When this Cyber Gray 2010 Camaro SS arrived at Hennessey, it was originally outfitted as a supercharged HPE650 with one notable difference — a forged, low compression 415 cubic inch LS3 stroker motor. Well, when you have a love of horsepower and a rock solid foundation to build on, the urge to take things further is hard to resist.

After all, the same 415 stroker is at the heart of the Hennessey HPE800 Twin Turbo Camaro upgrade, so determining the method of attack for producing big numbers was a no brainer.

After transforming the HPE650 to a twin turbo HPE800 and making well over it’s advertised numbers at a super-conservative 11 psi, the time came at the request of the customer to increase the boost and have a little fun.

So with a few more pounds of boost — 16 psi total — the HPE800 Camaro easily put down nearly 850 horsepower to the rear wheels and just a hair over 800 lb-ft of torque (847 rwhp / 801 lb-ft tq to be exact). Factor in your basic drivetrain loss for a 6-speed manual Camaro and the horsepower numbers hit right near 1,000 HP mark!

But what makes the numbers even better is the conservative and SAFE nature of the Hennessey twin turbo setup. A strong motor, efficient turbo design and proper fuel support means the HPE800 (and even the 427 cubic inch LSX-powered HPE1000) Camaro can be tuned for bird-dog reliability while making outrageous amounts of power.

Just see for yourself…

Hennessey Performance is proud to introduce our exclusive cat-back exhaust system for the Panamera Turbo. The first of new upgrades in development, its a high quality, bolt on performance upgrade constructed from 100% stainless steel that gives you an extra boost in horsepower to compliment its aggressive sound and quad 4-inch double-walled polished tips.

Around town, the exhaust note is noticeable, but not overbearing. It’s similar to driving the car with the factory bypass fully open. Different performance modes (Sport, Sport Plus) also have an affect on tone as shift points are altered and hold the gears longer on both up and down shifts. But no matter what mode you’re in, when you stab the throttle and open up the Panamera’s V8, you’ll be rewarded with a satisfying V8 soundtrack to accompany the luxury sedan’s back-pinning acceleration.

We’ve made a short video showcasing the exhaust’s sounds. First, in an all-out launch in Sport Plus mode that rockets through the gears for a 1/4 mile sprint, and second, a light merge on to the interstate and cruising acceleration to demonstrate how it responds under normal driving. (At 70 mph, ambient road and wind noise started to overpower the exhaust, which sounded like a distant rumble all the way in the rear of the vehicle.)

But enough words… hear it for yourself:
