Watch as the latest Hennessey twin turbo Camaro takes to the dyno. This one-off build goes beyond the HPE1000′s twin turbo 427 cid LSX engine, sending added power to the ground through a bulletproof 4L80E automatic transmission.
Rare Diamond: Hennessey V700 Black Diamond Edition CTS-V Sport Wagon
Check out one of the latest — and rarest — Cadillac CTS-Vs to come out of Hennessey Performance: A heavily-optioned 2011 Black Diamond Edition Sport Wagon (with a manual transmission, no less).
The Black Diamond Edition is a special option released by Cadillac earlier this year, and its main claim is its unique tri-coat paint process that goes beyond the standard metallic finishes found on the road today.
GM’s press release explains the process:
In the CTS-V Black Diamond, a dark tri-coat paint is embedded with SpectraFlair Bright Silver pigment. While other luxury makers offer metallic paints, Black Diamond is created through a meticulous process that gives the paint added dimension.
Instead of simply containing small bits of metal, the SpectraFlair pigment in Black Diamond uses aluminum flakes encapsulated in a glass-like substance called magnesium fluoride. The result is a paint that has a diamond-like sparkle as light hits the surface from different angles.
The Black Diamond also comes with yellow Brembo brake calipers, a special Midnight Sapele wood trim, satin black wheels and includes the must-have Recaro front seat option.
But not stopping there, this wagon received our potent V700 upgrade and optional exhaust dumps that are electrically-actuated to bypass the mufflers, letting all within earshot know its more than just a V with a special paint scheme.

VIDEO: Hennessey ZR750 Corvette ZR1 Driving & Dyno Testing
In stock form, the Corvette ZR1 is regarded by many to be of supercar stature at a fraction of the price. With its 638 horsepower supercharged LS9, magnetic ride control and giant ceramic brakes, the ZR1 is a world-class sports car posting outstanding numbers (like a 7:26.4 on the famous Nurburgring) that makes European automakers wince.
However, take that same car and bump the output to over 750 horsepower, and GM’s “America still builds rockets” tagline is more apt than ever.
That’s what happens when your standard Corvette ZR1 receives the Hennessey ZR750 treatment.
Increasing the boost levels, adding a freer-flowing exhaust by way of stainless steel long tube headers and high flow catalytic converters, porting the cylinder heads and a revising the camshaft profile results in a healthy dose of Texas horsepower added to the most capable American production car this side of the CTS-V.
Take a look below to see the ZR750 Corvette ZR1 test driven around Lonestar Motorsports Park and on the chassis dyno.

2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 – First Impressions
In December, Dodge dropped by Hennessey Performance as part of the Hemi Highway Tour — and east-to-west jaunt across the country showing off their latest wares to enthusiasts old and new. Arriving in both the redesigned 2011 Dodge Charger R/T and the new 2011 392 Challenger SRT8, we were able to get a closer look at the new 470HP 6.4L 392 Hemi we first saw in person at November’s SEMA show.
It didn’t disappoint.
While the Challenger has always been the heaviest of the three when compared to its 5.0 Mustang and Camaro SS rivals, the extra ponies and revised powerband have worked handily to eliminate the feeling of carrying around a few extra hundred pounds. Combined with a better steering ratio, tweaked suspension and its Daimler-derived build quality, the 392 had us thoroughly impressed. The mid-range torque ramps up acceleration, and turns are more crisp and responsive. While the exterior only receives mild changes for 2011, from behind the wheel you can tell Dodge has been taking notes during the 6.1L’s reign to keep the Challenger in the hunt.
As the 2011 Challenger SRT8 begins hitting the streets, be on the lookout for new Hennessey upgrade packages to take advantage of the 392′s new potential. For now, check out the videos below for the 6-speed Tremec-equipped 392 SRT8 posting up on the dyno and going for a spin around Lonestar Motorsports Park.

Supercharged LS3 Corvette Packages from Hennessey (with Video)
For much of its late-model life, the only way the C6 (and previous C5) Corvette could run a roots type supercharger system was to have the hood replaced or hacked up and grafted with an alternative bulge to accommodate the top-mounted blower. This dramatically increased the cost over more easily tucked away centrifugal units that didn’t require purchasing a hood, having it prepped and painted and changing the look of the sleek car.
But now there’s a solution: The Edelbrock E-Force supercharger system. Designed to fit under the factory hood of the C6, its low profile masks the TVS2300 Eaton rotors and long intake runners that give this system the torquey punch you want from a blown V8.
For Hennessey Performance’s line of supercharged LS3 (2008 +) Corvettes, the E-Force blower fits the bill. The HPE610 and HPE660 supercharged upgrade packages for the LS3 Vette are decidedly different beasts with the same strategy in mind: Boost + efficiency.
The HPE610 kicks things off with the E-Force supercharger, fuel injectors and a freer flowing air induction and exhaust supported by. All told, the HPE610 produces what it names implies: 610 crank horsepower with 600 lb-ft of torque.
The HPE660 takes the horsepower hunt to the next level with a more aggressive camshaft, ported cylinder heads and stainless steel headers allowing the base model Vette to leap past its ZR1 big brother by over 20 horsepower. At 662 bhp and 648 lb-ft, the HPE660 pushes the lighter C6 beyond the levels of the similarly-equipped HPE650 Camaro — one of the most popular Hennessey upgrades for the 5th gen muscle car for its break-neck acceleration and aggressive rumble.
Each package also comes serial-numbered, features custom Hennessey tuning and extras and a limited HPE warranty.
Check out the recent HPE610 below on the chassis dyno as it puts down over 506 horsepower to the wheels through an automatic…
